HINOP has been used in Japan for more than two decades and has earned an outstanding reputation,especially in the field of the optical devices.

We have been using our own uniquely designed plating solution for lens mold plating since we developed the electroless plating solution (Ni-P alloy), "HINOP", back in 1988. Because we have developed our own plating solution, we have a thorough understanding of its attributes, and are therefore 100% confident that we can meet the needs of our customers.

Pretreatment is equally as important as the plating solution itself. 
No matter how good the plating solution is, troubles such as pinholes on the plated membrane and surface peeling during machining can arise without the appropriate pretreatment.

Kyowa has over twenty years of experience in plating various kinds of matrix molds.  It is possible to maintain the material’s adhesive properties and apply Pinhole-Free Thick plating to hard to plate materials such as cemented carbide, titanium, glass and ceramics, with the appropriate pretreatment.
